not sure if/when you’ll see this but tq for being as childish as i m and for always being there for me!!! i’m glad i found someone who rlly clicks w me and tbh i know sometimes i say things that can be a little mean but i’m just really bad at expressing how i feel. thank you for always reassuring me and for the random compliments 😉 so glad about so many decisions i’ve made tq tq tq 😭
Went back to Hue, Vietnam for Hue Dreams 9. It was truly a humbling experience to be able to volunteer in a foreign country, and have 15 members in my care. Tried not to express my tiredness or unhappiness often because 1. it sets a bad example 2. it influences people.
While I was honestly tired (emotionally and physically), I did make friends whom I know will last for life and I’m so so thankful for that. Didn’t expect myself to be this close to any of the members but sometimes life treats you a little more kindly and surprises you.
Construction this year was H E L L. Didn’t expect it to be so intense but I guess through tough times you tend to remember and appreciate what you have a little more. Teaching was way easier (though the kids are a little less cute… HAHAHA) but stressful still. Kinda realized halfway through this trip that I like kids if I have to interact with them for less than an hour per day and I probably will only love my own (oops). But am honestly blessed to have had kids look for me and write me cards everyday and honestly I do miss them a little. I wonder if they remember us. 😦
With that being said, here are some pictures (film only idk if I’m going to take the time to put up some pictures from my phone). Film pics for these 2 rolls were so horrible because they were mostly taken indoors and my flash wasn’t strong enough. Nevertheless, still enjoyed using my film camera hehe.

Not touching film for awhile bc I wanna save up for an actual film camera (because tbh it’s costly to keep buying disposables. Will miss taking film shots but hopefully it’ll be a worthy investment of my money (and time).

I bought 2 more cameras though… going overseas so I guess it’ll be a good opportunity then.
6 people 6 towers + considering 1 didnt drink the last 3 towers and 2 more didnt drink the first two towers.
Finally got to experience what it feels like to projectile vomit, throw away $30+ (thats what i fkin paid just to throw it all up) and go through a triathlon (my heart was pounding so intensely i was so scared I’ll die)
v thankful for my friends esp my cofaci that just tanked me all the way from smoo bar to swee choon to sch lmao idk why at one point we were holding hands and i almost pulled him to the damn road help

It’s only been a week and i’m so frickin tired. Not sure why but it feels like my readings are endless this sem.
Been playing as hard as I work and I already did 4 meet ups this week!!! Yes I’m very proud of myself but tbh I think this is not sustainable for my weak af body which has been showing signs of wear and tear (first my shoulder & neck, next my stomach that suddenly keeps bloating up and hurting)
Also I’ve been meeting my sneks for this whole week WE’RE SO STICKY IT’S SO G R O S S! ! ! Always thankful to have them; they make me super happy especially when they meet on their own and are self sustainable yay I feel like a proud mama.
One notable meet up for this week was with Giggson and Nikita! We met in y1s1 around this time because we had an assigned group for calculus and somehow Giggson and I were in the same 3 preassigned groups (which changed for all 3 weeks) and Nikita was with us for the first and second week HAHA. So when we had to pick groups from week 4 onwards, the 3 of us stuck together and entered another group together HEHEHE. We’ll always have random jokes and htht and also they had to deal with my late & hungry & sleepyass HAHAH thankful to have them. I was so surprised when the meet up actually happened and that we still clicked v v well?
Funny thing that happened during the meet up was when Giggson asked me if I grew taller BECAUSE HE THOUGHT i was the same height as Nikita (she’s 15X +) HAHAHA HE KEPT INSISTING I GREW TALLER BOIIIIII
And I ended up texting this person whom I’ve wanted to be good friends with for a long time and we had a htht! My heart is v v full thank you friends for making this week bearable!!!

I decided to start posting again because I had nowhere to express how much I feel for this camp and all the people I’ve met due to it.
Inspirar has been the best decision I’ve made in SMU. I daresay the experience has been way more fun and meaningful for me than OCSP – which I may or may not be posting about in the future.
I’ve always been a camp sort of person. So when Zhao suggested me to join Inspirar, I was more than willing to give it a go. I got in, and almost rejected the offer as my supposed co-faci was rejected. However, not wanting to back down from a challenge, I took it up.
In the first meeting, we were all split by clans. I was pretty anxious as I only faintly knew who Lynn was (from her eyeliner). That was in addition to the fact that I reached the SR early and had to awkwardly try and come up with topics to talk about. I didn’t even know the person I was assigned to co-faci with (JJ) as we didn’t talk (until much later).
However, when we were given time to bond with our group, I realized that I clicked really well with the people there. It was also really surprising that JJ and I both had a dislocated jaw (or locked jaw for me who knows) and the vibes I got from him was really nice hehe.
Didn’t manage to spend a lot of time with them because I had OCSP and FO commitments. Thankfully, everything fell in place right before mock camp.
Will not be going into details wrt mock camp as the main point of this post is about the actual camp. To officially start the post, here are some pictures from our photo shoot.
The highlight of Day 0 was when JJ and I decided to go for Lynn’s precamp dinner as fake freshies AND WE FORGOT WE LIED THAT WE WERE SIBLINGS HAHAHA. Anyway, the real troll was this y3 guy that only Lynn knew was fake… JJ jokingly pointed him out and said “he looks so old he confirm y3” and he took out his matriculation card AND BAM HE WAS. HAHAHA Anyway, I’m glad we made it fun for the real freshies and I’m quite close to 2 out of 3 of them who went. (The last guy is my senior from JC hahaha)
The 3 days were honestly a blur so here all the highlights! (maybe I’m just too lazy… hoho)

I’m so blessed to have the most supportive freshies that tanked JJ and I (esp our bullshit). Glad we all click well and are happy in this clique we have.
Am thankful for JJ also! I worked the best with him out of all the co-facis I had and I’m grateful to have this friendship. If I didn’t text him that night when I really needed to pee while being on the service bus, I don’t think we’ll be this close now. Was reading our very first interaction (on igdm and tele) and I’m surprised by how well we hit it off. We just started talking every day and honestly, he’s become an integral part of my life. I really hope this friendship lasts beyond summer and for a really long time. :,-)
Not forgetting the facis in my clan. I once considered dropping out because I felt left out due to the fact that everyone else had a lot more friends in other clans and in the organizing committee while I only had Jing Wen, Zhao, and Ryan. (Elizabeth too but we aren’t that close LMAO) But they now play such a huge role in my life and I’m so very thankful for that. I pray that this friendship never goes away.
I truly am so blessed to have been able to get all these takeaways from just one camp alone, and while my other camps may not have been so successful on my end, I’m happy to have just Targaryen and my Sneks. I love them all so much.
